During this workshop, strategies, hands-on experiences and useful information are provided for teachers to implement for optimum student achievement
Examine modifications and accommodations, concepts include: Zone of Proximal Development, removing barriers for learning and Scaffolded Learning
Demonstrate how to effectively implement in-class support models to support all students
Share effective strategies for support staff to use with striving learners
Teachers participate in 2 Team Building Activities to demonstrate individual differences and importance of a collaboration
Collaborate to implement the most effective models for supporting students
Practice selecting strategies for a plan of action addressing student’s needs for 3 different scenario
