With over 30 years of experience in education, Gina McCormack is a passionate advocate for effective teaching and learning across all content areas. Her expertise lies in supporting educators to create student-centered, literacy-rich learning environments that empower children to reach their full potential. Gina's approach to educational support is rooted in research-based practices and a commitment to closing opportunity gaps.
Throughout her career, Gina has worn many hats in the education field, having served as a middle school principal, curriculum supervisor, and classroom teacher across multiple grade levels and subjects. This diverse background has given her a comprehensive understanding of the skills and knowledge continuum essential for student success. Gina's academic background includes a B.A. in Economics from Fordham University, an M.S. in Teaching from Fordham University, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Saint Elizabeth University.
In addition to her role as an education specialist, Gina serves as a grant evaluator, assessing and supporting afterschool programs. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at Ramapo College where she teaches in the First Year Seminar Program. These professional roles allow her to stay at the forefront of educational trends and best practices, which she then incorporates into her staff development efforts.
