Educators are responsible for empowering students to be autonomous. Students gain confidence in taking risks when they visibly see their own learning and are provided authentic feedback in real time.  Educators are challenged to find ways to make learning visible at any time.  We will consider ways to ensure students are prepared with the ability to succeed in a social and collaborative 21st century by exploring “ready to implement” ideas and strategies.

Together we will:

  • Understand how to create a plan for formative assessment that explicitly provides information to students about their progress in real time.

  • Develop high-quality feedback that comes from many sources, including other students; it is specific and focused on improvement.
