The NGSS has catapulted the “E” in STEM (engineering) to a prominent place in all classrooms where science is taught every day or only twice a week. In this workshop, educators will realize what engineering should look and sound like in a classroom setting and how it can be easily embedded in their science curriculum. The focus on engineering as a discipline where science and math concepts are applied, rather than engineering as “building fun projects” will be explicit.
